During team time today, we were asked to describe our Camino experience thus far in one word. My word was on-going.
Yes, we still have two more days left before reaching Santiago so our trip is currently on-going. But even after this experience ends, the journey of walking the Way everyday does not end. As John 14:6 says, “Jesus answered, “I am the Way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except though me.”
There will be good days. There will be bad days. There will long days. There will be short days. There will be days that you may want to quit but you press forward. Because with each new day, the Lord will provide new experiences and people to walk alongside with and bring alongside in following Jesus — the one true Way to eternal life.
So my journey on the Camino as a pilgrim does not end after this, but is on-going and will continue until I have reached the true final destination with my Heavenly Father.
